Happy First Birthday!
We all wish we could freeze time and enjoy special moments for just a little bit longer.
Your baby's first birthday is one of many moments that you'll feel this way, and that's where I come in.
While I'm no magician and I can't freeze time, I CAN give you the gift of photos that bring you right back to that very moment you want to freeze, every time you look at them.
Step 1
Your baby's first birthday portrait session is so much more than photos of your baby eating cake. The session is divided into three key parts, and it's almost like having three sessions in one!
I begin by taking a few portraits of your baby before they get messy. Playing with toys, crawling (or walking!) around, and smiling big for the camera if they're in the mood!
You're welcome to join in for a quick snuggle as well, especially if you haven't been in front of the camera together since they were first born.
STEP 2
Next, I capture the moment your baby is handed their very own birthday cake.
What they'll do with it is always a surprise, so I aim to capture their reaction - whether it's a curious or confused look, or complete joy and delight. I especially love to capture their disgusted expression if it turns out they don't like cake!
STEP 3
To clean those sticky little fingers, we'll finish with a fun bubble bath so you can leave the mess behind and bring home a clean baby.
Watch your baby's delight as they splash in the bubbles in a mini clawfoot bathtub. These photos are a favorite among parents and can make the most adorable wall decoration in a place that's tricky to decorate - the bathroom!
Your session is meant to be a fun, happy experience, and I let your baby take the lead.

UNDERSTANDING THE VALUE OF A SESSION FEE
To secure your date and time, a session fee of $250 is due upon booking. This fee ensures that no matter which package you choose, you'll receive the same dedicated care and attention. It covers the preparation that goes into the setup, duration, and clean-up of your photo session, as well as a portion of the associated costs.
By separating the fee for your photo session itself from the image collection you choose, you have more control over your budget and can make informed decisions about your photography investment. Your session fee is paid at the time of booking, and because you don't have to decide which package to purchase until after you've seen your online photo gallery. That way, you can choose the collection that works best for your needs and budget.
This allows you to choose the images you truly love and want to keep - whether you're looking for a small selection of images you can't live without, or you've decided you can't live without any of them and you want all of the images in your online gallery!
